The APS foundation is holding its first ever, “A is for Art” sale at the Albuquerque Museum.
There are nearly 100 pieces created by local high school artists. These young artists will get 40 percent of the profit while the rest will go to the foundation which works to support school art programs.
Phil Casaus, the foundations executive director, is impressed by the display.
“I don’t think a lot of them know how great they are, I’m no art expert, but I’ll tell you some of their stuff in incredible,” Casaus tells us.
The event will take place Friday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. There will be both a silent and live auction.
