New Mexico earns prestigious award | Environment

New Mexico Clean & Beautiful was awarded the well-known Keep America Beautiful President’s Circle Award during the 57th annual Keep America Beautiful National Conference in Orlando.  

The President’s Circle Award recognizes outstanding performance made by certified affiliates of the national nonprofit to reduce litter, minimize waste, recycle and beautify their local communities.

“We commend New Mexico Clean & Beautiful for its hard work and all New Mexico communities for their efforts in keeping the Land of Enchantment a showcase for themselves and their visitors,” said Michael Cerletti, Secretary of the New Mexico Tourism Department. “These awards from Keep America Beautiful are a tribute to all those efforts.”

Keep America Beautiful was established in 1953 and is the nation’s largest volunteer-based community action and education organization.
