$1M donated to help renovate Hiland Theater | News
The Hiland Theater in Albuquerque is getting a much needed face lift.
Its current tenant, the National Dance Institute of New Mexico recently received a $1 million check from a Santa Fe group to help renovate the Hiland Theater.
NDI currently offers dance programs at the Dance Barns in Santa Fe.
The group has been raising money to fix up the old theater on Central Avenue near San Mateo Boulevard.
Performances should begin when renovations end in 2012.
