Missing Albuquerque children both found safe Monday | News
Missing Albuquerque girl Valoree Davis, 12, was found safe Monday in her own neighborhood after she was missing overnight.
Davis’ family had reported the girl missing Sunday after saying they last saw her leaving home Sunday at 2:30 p.m. near 12th Street and Mountain Road NW.
Davis' family says she told them she was going for a walk, but she never came home.
Police say Davis told them she spent the entire night walking, got disoriented and ended up walking to the Walmart at Coors and I-40.
Davis told police she slept outside or near the store, and found her way back to her neighborhood Monday morning.
In other news, missing ABQ boy Dennis Pelier, 11, has been found safe.
